\:D/ Cheers guys, thanks for the welcome, booked up the ferry for tues. morning, & e-mailed the chateuax to ask them to add me to the MR2 village on the campsite. Been on VW club trips in the past & it's a much better time when you go with a BIG party of devotees than on your own. Even when you dont know each other, you're treated like you've known each other for years. Looking forward to meeting you lot. & i promise not to show you all up in my GSi (hehe).

Steve,

You're dead right mate, we are all well up for it, welcome guests with open arms ( even if you don't have a 2 ) and we now have 6 years past experience in running the Le Mans tour.

Have you had a look at the past 6 years from the links.

Cheers

Yeah, had a few hours to spare this afternoon (waiting for a new bed to be delivered) so had a bit of a look thru the 'imocuk' site, quite impressive, lot of stuff to read. Good quality pics on here too,, some nice motors both mk1's & 2's. Looks more like a total p*ss up than a trip to the racing  Damn...... i've missed it the last 6 years.!!

Hi all

Mike i am sorry to say myself and lynne will no longer be going to le mans next year as i have been sent to iraq in may for four months  ,

I hope you all have a great time and i am now sooooo jealous  as i know how much i enjoyed it last year!!

the good news is that my ferry is all booked still, Before i cancel it i thought i would offer the tickets to people who are able to go, i booked when they were only £58 which is all i would want for them. If your interested in doing this or know of anyone who is yet to book then please pm me asap as i will have to cancel the booking eventually.
Deatails are: tues 12 @ 1200-Dover to Bologne/tue 19 @1500- Bologne to Dover.

Have to say again....I'M GUTTED ABOUT NOT GOING :pale:

no probs fella's, can hold onto it for a little while, it is a single car with two passenger booking though, guess it doesn't matter if it drops to one driver and a car though.

Ki,

Plan 'B' - quit your job, get a summer job in Maccy Dee's till June 10th, come to Le Mans then eat humble pie and grovel for your PE job back.....!!

I'm serious......

Kieran

Sorry to hear you will not make the trip to le man as i was looking forward to meeting you.

Never mind if you are back by 15-16th September you can join the Scottish trip.

There are already a few coming from down south including Micheal and Joanne Sheavills, Jinxy and Max starr.
