Not sure why this is, if anyone else had problems then please post here.
Do any of you computer whizzies know what the problem may be?

It was great fun tonight with some really good bumper to bumper battles going on.
Were going to make wednesday nights at 8:30 the regular home for this.
We are also considering the following options:-

1. Turbos only - you have to earn 200 points to unlock the turbo - best way to do this is in single player against the computer driven cars, set the level to Pro (work up if you have to) and win races to gain the points.

2. Sessions - 8:30 n/a then 9:15 turbos

3. Mixed sessions - n/a & turbo

4. Keep it as it is - GT n/a (non-turbo)

Please post your views. (maybe an admin could tidy up the thread and turn it into a poll)

If you dont already know Live for Speed is an online racing simulator with an incrediblely realistic physics engine. The fully playable demo is available at www.liveforspeed.net. This (apart from a computer and a bit of skill) is all you need to join in and have some fun.
If you dont have a steering wheel setup then you can still join in using a mouse or keyboard.

Yeah was good fun
I have most of the replays (I'll try and find some embarassing moments ).
I reckon we should do -
2030 NA only, then turbos at 2115.
Gets everyone warmed up and gives new drivers a chance with the NAs if they haven't managed to unlock the turbo yet.

Did you search under "Private games" in the demo room as opposed to public? (We're passworded to stop the riff-raff getting in )
If so - are you running a firewall? (Hardware or software) Probably need to disable it temporarily or lookup what ports need to be opened for multiplayer to work.
If you're behind a router you'll need to enable port forwarding (UDP and TCP/IP) or put your PC in a DMZ temporarily for playing.
I'll try and find the port numbers...

I think it was called MR2 stuff rather than MR2stuff, I got the same error but found it by clicking on the big list of servers/games/whatever.

Great fun though and if I ever learn to corner it'll probably be even better

Ah, mr2 stuff - that would be it then. I don't have any firewall problems with LFS - I can connect to other LFS races no probs, I should have checked the master list I'll get some practice in for next week.
