But this "nettiquette" idea intrigeues me?

It's not in the forum rules, so some guidance or framework is going to be needed before moderation can take place IMO.

I often post links here to other sites, 99% of the time to help members out with problems.

Does this mean I now have to host all these images, and copy and paste text and pictures myself before I can post assistance here?

That doesn't seem in the interests of forum.

Also, a distinction between gereral discussion links and technical advice links is also going to get arbitrary pretty quickly.

Just my 2 pence. This probably needs a new topic in "suggestions", or an e-mail to the admin really, but at least people can see an example of it in this post to form their own opinions.

Okay, my final post on this... i don't want to dilute this thread with rule debates. We have recently revised the rules but they are not up yet, they will be very shortly. Its a complex area, but i would prefer if we don't get into a debate about it here. It does not mean that every picture has to be hosted here.

in other words you was wrong to take the links away....... but of course there wont be an apology. its not complex at all lol, you just make it seem so....

How stupid am I ](*,)

I read the title and thought "why do you want to put ST185 lights on an MR2 ?" Didn't even think of the new Celicas lights

DOH

Anyway, I'm liking that mate. It will be nice to see it finished and in the flesh so to speak especially with that border front. Very aggressive

This actually looks like it's got great potential.

Awful lot of work though. Welding up the bonnet etc. If it works out I'd suggest you contact the guy who made the nose and ask him if he wants to make a mold of the nose and bonnet so he can sell kits to allow this conversion.
It'd be a lot simpler than chopping up an MR2 bonnet.

Beyond that, I take it the headlights haven't just been dropped in wherever they fitted?
I mean, they have at least been pointed at a wall to check the beams are actually aimed in roughly the correct direction rather than up into the air or at the floor?

If it works out it should look the absolute dogs danglies though. :)

but then a few people would have the bumper and it wouldn't be original anymore.
