I've just come back inside after attempting to get rid of a load of tar splattering on my rear wing. Autoglym Tar Remover did the job brilliantly, whereas the more traditional method of tar removing (i.e butter) failed miserably. Hats off to the stuff.

I use Autoglym polish, but find you've really got to give it some elbow grease to get a good finish compared to other brands. The final result is worth it, though.
Mk2 NA Rev1 -*- Mk2 Turbo Rev2 -*- Mk1 NA -*- Mk2 Turbo Rev 3 = all gone!

I repeat my self again. Dark cars: I use Colour magic for the front i.e front bumper.. (green) and super resin autoglym polish for the rest of the car on smooth surfaces.. does a treat.

I bought a p21s kit last year for about £60 quid, comprising of polish, a carnuba wax, wheel cleaners and applicator pads. Its the best stuff ive ever used. Doesnt leave all the white residue like autoglym, and its not as much effort.
The wheel stuff is awesome! Better than wonderwheels and the like....only thing is its a bit pricey!

just have this niggling thought that if I rip out the wiring, then the car will never get out of the garage again.

Have just invested in the Autoglym Valet set (shampoo, super resin polish and class wax) £12, bargain.
