one of the kids opened the window and shouted out "nice ferrari mate"! i couldnt shout of the truth, so i just nodded!

he was prob only about 5-7years old, lol!

had other kids shout out nice ferrari as well.

ie "cool ferrari mate" at the top of there little voices.

yea man u get a lil bit of attention in these cars i went to pick my girlfriend from college and i had about 10 boys starting at my car from the classroom window with thier camera phones out!

not sure whether id want attention from 10 boys mate, lol, lol!!

I wouldn't worry, last year driving an elise in France, belgium and Holland i found a got an incredible amount of interest everytime we stopped (4 elises in convoy & a GT3).

It even got to the point where i was driving along the french motorway and kids were taking pics as they overtook!

I'm sure he didn't mean any harm and will probably aspire to get something like your car in the future, we've all been teenagers right?

Go over to europe particularly France and you'll get loads of attention. This could be partly due to the MR2's name which doesn't translate so well into French!

i was parked at a petrol station and went to the cash machine, saw 6 kits around 12-15yrs old standing around my car, the asked someone to shine their headlights on it so they can take pics, and they did. i walked back and the youngest one shouts "aww nice car, i wanna spunk all over it"!!!! 12 years old!!!! F***ing dipshits but then it it was expected it was gonna end up on there at some point . The only thing that winds me up is the fact that a trusted member on toyota forums posted about it on there as i know the guy that posted that thread. Really stooping to a low level , they can make fun and laugh all they want but most of those low forms of life couldnt afford an mr2 turbo.

I find it highly ammusing how many people like my car and the spoiler and even though the car isnt finished yet, but those members pretty much bash every single car thats got a kit on or the spoiler is higher than 3cm off the back end.

At the end of the day im not a barry, i dont look like one
and the only reason they post things like this is for attention seeking
poor children such a shame.

You first off said that you didn't want your pic to appear on that site .. you then laid into him .. if it'd have been me I'd have been a bit more harsh .. he didn't even post the pic, just pointed out that you were scared of the slating (which never happened).

I've had peeps taking pics of my car (could have been due to the granny killer front spoiler and 3 foot flames) and if they appear on the net, so what? If i didn't want people to see my car, it'd be in the garage.

I remember veilside_MR2 his car appeared on barryboys, and it was not nice he got far more slated than i did... and did veilside like it? NO he didnt
as i said i didnt want my car appearing on barryboys, if it happened it happened... but i didnt want some guy starting it off just cause he lost an argument on toc.

After he had posted a picture of his car, I tried to explain he had nothing to worry about..


That post on BB, was intended as a 'TOLD YOU SO' - which it pretty much is, as apart from 2 people who dont like his spoiler, they didnt say a bad word..

I think you overreacted here Blood, and im sorry if it caused you any distress - but look - they havent insulted your car, as I told you, you had nothing to worry about.....

Yeah they are all ******s there. They just need to grow up, and the funniest thing is these people are not kids! It seems they have nothing better to do than slag off people with modified cars, their owners and whether or not they have accidents etc. They couldn't care less!
