There are reasons why the list is so small. Gtech (Graeme) is now without a tubby as he sold his to his son. Stuart Bowens car is off the road with oil line problems but it is being repaired, JJ has alot of work on at present, I have not heard from Jevansio (Jay) for a while but looking at past threads I am not sure if he has sorted power issues since he was at Thor for mapping.

By the way, slightest sign of snow and I will not be there, but looking att BBC forecast looks like it should be dry. But you know how good the BBC is

Hallo ! :eye:

I may pop along.. it all depends on how much work I get done on saturday  If I've got time... I'll be there at 11.30 !

I have not heard from Jevansio (Jay)

He's okay tony... he's on holiday for 3 weeks in India at the moment... I've got his car.... I'm going to stick my wizards hat on and spread the magic onto it with stuarts help... this ones going to be fast. \:D/

Main fault with his car ........ big turbo, not externally gated !! In a nut shell...I believe he's losing a great deal of power through this .. I've found the route of the boosting issues too !! :eye: Just a matter of time !

Thats the spirit, what about all you MK1 owners, any more takers, would be nice if we could turn up at NISSAN with at least 10 MR2's.

Cheers

Is there a prize for the person who drives the farthest distance

Covered 480 miles this week up and down M1 getting the engine ran in. Had a scare on Tuesday, alternator wasnt charging the battery and ended up with no electrical power (steering, dash etc). Managed to get it to garage on engine power and fixed up for the next day.

Just been to Leeds and back for final run-in leg, oil change and racing filter on tomorrow, and slight problem with idle revs too high to get fixed tomorrow.

But aimed for 500 this week to get the oil done and be able to get boost levels up. Most boring ever (apart from the last time!). Overtaken by people carriers and Nissan Micras...

Reliability looking pretty good now, cya Sunday (If there's no snow !)

Hi bud, check out www.japtuner.co.uk all the dates are on there. So, you are getting the modding bug again. There goes another big wad of cash. You know what you will do. Spend a fortune, get it all powerful and gorgeous, then sell the bu88er to head of to some foreign soil to sow your oats and soak up the rays. Just to come back and start all over again.
