No problems Jo, I hope you have put in a stamped addressed envelope as well [-o<

Just to update, the last of the entry passes went this evening by phone. That said we should still be able to fit a few more cars on the stand if the owners want to buy there own entry tickets somewhere else as we will have 6 spare stand passes.

he list is as follows:

1. Jo 1xadmission
2. SystemG 1x admission 2x track
3. Spudgun 1xadmission 1x track
4. Peter Scatchard 1xadmission 2xtrack (under certain conditions, will know more soon)
5. Tim Jones and Emiliy Gregory 2xadmission
6. Martin Jeremiah 1xadmission 1xtrack
7. Tony "jinxy" Froude. 2 x admission x BLOWTORCH
8. Crazylegs (Kev) 1 x admission
9. Tim Cartledge 2x admission 1xtrack
10. Tom G 2xadmission 1xtrack
11. Jeff and Viv Harper 2xadmission
12 Paul Charlton 2xadmission.
13 Un1esh 1xadmission
14 Andy Childs 1xadmissions

So thats 14 cars now on the stand!!!!

The track time is still availible if any one wants it.

I can't wait! am trying to decide whether to take G's track mk1 on track, or if the tango has got the bushes done - whether to track that instead.
I had originally said i would only take tango on an airfield day tho'
decisions :-k

This could be the clubs second biggest event of the year next to JAE, or maybe thats just a bit of wishful thinking on my behalf.

3. Spudgun 1xadmission 1x track
4. Peter Scatchard 1xadmission 2xtrack (under certain conditions, will know more soon)

Peter is only going to be able to go out on track in the morning. The Japfest organisers don't give you a choice of when your track time is just how many lots you want and over how many sessions. When everything arrives we shall know a bit more.

ahh... was worried fro a mo that he wasn't going to be able to make it or something, or a car problem meaning he couldn't rag it round the track.

PS: make sure that Garricks/my 2 track sessions are different times

Hello Laidies and Gentlemen.
All the Japfest stuff turned up yesterday morning.

The clubs track time has been alotted as 5 lots at 1.07pm with a briefing time of 10.30am, 5 lots at 3.58pm with a briefing time of 12.00pm. If you have ordered two lots then that is straight forward enough, but if you have asked for just the one session there is a decision to be made.
I will allocate the sessions on a first come, first served basis, so if you have a preferance let me know as soon as possible. I'm easy going,so I will fit in with everyone else.
This does probably mean Peter Scatchard won't be able to use any so that does mean we now might have 3 lots left. I have tried to get in touch with him, but with no response as of yet.
I will be posting out the entry passes on Monday morning, but if its ok with you guys I would like to hang to the track passes until the day itself. The paperwork is a lot more bulky than I imagined and the envelopes you have all sent me to post off your tickets in won't cover the costs envolved.
Its not like we are on really early so there should be plenty of time to sort it out in the morning.
I reckon that about covers it for now, but if you have any questions let me know.
All the best

Hi Tim,
I can't speak for the everyone but I had intended to head straight to the curcuit on the day to help set up the pitch. So I guess we will all be meeting on site, unless you want to organise something amongst yourselves. As for a convoy people are coming from all over the country, so convoying it in is unlikely.
The only thing you could do is maybe meet up in Morrisons car park, like a number of other car clubs do. It does get very busy in there though :)
Gates are open to the public at 9.00 am but you can get on site from 7.00 if your on a stand.

Jo and I are going to try and get there for 07:00 - 07:30 to set the stand up. We will be bringing the club banners and a few other things too. It's going to take us about 2.5 - 3 hours to get there so a nice early start. We are going to have to wash/polish Tango once there as our work schedules are not going to allow cleaning the cars before hand.

The track car will probably have to do it's sessions on the new road wheels as I doubt we are going to have the space or the time to be swapping wheels on the day. We'll see...

Really starting to get exited about this now \:D/

I would really advise everyone who is intending on being on the stand to get there before 9am, when the public gates open - as this is the best way to get your car there without huge queues and hassels getting accross the site.

remember to bring a foldable chair or something to rest your weary legs.

2.5-3 hours garrick? My route planner says 2 hours. So i'll be leaving just after 6, any convoys going down the M5?

Mmmm... Was going on memory from two years ago. Last year we got caught up in the ques as we were running late and it took over 5 hours ](*,)

My route planner says 2H15m to get there from mine.

From Northampton down the A43 past Silverstone to the M40. then down the A34 past Oxford/Newbury onto the M4 and then off at J17 onto the A350. Simple 8) But long...

Hello All,
I hope you have all got your tickets and passes ok by now?
I shall try and get to Castle combe before 8 on Saturday morning. Please don't leave it to late to get on site if you have track time booked. Briefing time will be at 10.30 for the early session and LARGE queues have been know to form for entry, so please get there in plenty of time.
I'm not sure where our pitch is on the site, but should become clearer on the day. If any of you need to get hold of me for any reason my home number is 01460 221732 and my mobile is 07722651367. This is all I can think of for now and I am unlikely to post again on the subject, unless asked a question.

All the best

Steve
