Sure, lets met up and head down there. I live in Bedford, not that far away from it. (still might get lost of course lol)

Let me check the map and see where best to meet up.

I'll be coming in from the a600 and i'll have satnav with me so you're welcome to follow. I'm pretty useless around bedford though as i always go south or to MK, not a fan of the shops there :)

Prob the best place to meet up is on the A6 just as it goes out of Bedford. There is a Sainsbury + petrol on your left at a set of traffic lights.
If you put in MK41 7pj that is it. We can meet at the petrol station.

its only 3/4 mins from my house and is easier to met there than try to direct you to me.

Its about 10-15mins from there i guess.

If thats OK, What time you you thinking?

There's a couple of us booked into www.motorsportvision.co.uk/trackdays/ev ... uctID=1225 and there's still a couple of places left if anyone else wants to show. Should be a good day!

I'm seriously considering this as shakedown for my new race car... Sadly, I can't make the Anglesey trackday.

Will drop a line here to confirm.

Pat,

Would be good to see you there, would make for some excellent bearding (plus you can tell me if there's play in this recon rack you put in or it's just me being paranoid ;))

Hope to see you there, though book up fast if you want to be!

Yay toni :) The more 2's the better - would be good to have a tubby there too so the mr2's don't get shown up too badly (we're both NA's atm)

There will be no MR2 bashing this friday!

even if i have to strip out all the interior+quarter fill tank (bring fuel in jerry cans) for rapid weight loss and more speed!! ha-ha 8)

Game on for friday......well excited! \:D/

Hopefully the weathermen predict the weather as good as normal and it will be sunny then :-)

Im worried about brake wear too but will see how it goes. [-o<

Bleeding the brakes today using the knowledge base as a guide - any tips to add would be welcome!

Put a bit of wood under the brake pedal to stop you straining the master cylinder seals when pumping (i've done it without twice but better safe than sorry).

Keep the fluid AWAY FROM THE PAINT!

Once you've bled the system shake everything you can including the steering wheel and go and have a cup of tea. 10 minutes later go and rebleed the last bit of air out.

Thanks for tips.

at least i know its not the end of the world if my pedal pusher knocks the wood #-o and the pedal goes all the way down!

do you get alot of air after shaking and waiting 10mins?
