I rekon this will be a huge 'event' rather than the usual track day, so this forum is the most popular...... perhaps?
put link in the motorsport section maybe?.....

I can't wait

Are you bringing the Tango out to play?

I don't think we'll struggle to fill places, the last IMOC day at Elvington was a great turn out :) A good mix of mk1/2/3 too.

Errrm, is the Orange machine making it's track debut?

Or are you taking my car out for a spin?

Or what about the Red trackcar, are you bringing that one? :?

Absolutely Tony! :P If you need some tuition, ask Lauren  She's quite good at going sideways (I know, had a demonstration at Elvington  )

LoL! Oh yes. I wouldn't recommend trying to drift around school - 60-70 mph right hander with the Irish Sea waiting to catch you though ;)

You can goon almost every other corner on the circuit though - Abbotts is fantastic, Radar if you go in a little too quick - you can even get a pendulum going though the left - right there. Hairpain - goes without saying.

The most slippery part of the circuit (IMO) is the Douglas/ Mountview combination, just as you come back out onto the circuit - you don't want to misjudge things there though.

@ MegatronUK : Yes, there are plans for the whole weekend at the moment - Friday through to Monday.

@ Goldy : Yes, we're looking to sort out a number of cottages we could all stay in which would be located near/next to one another. More info soon!

People,

Just to explain......

I've posted this before we've got all the information simply because the TOC trackday has been posted up. Some people will want to do Bruntingthorpe, some will want to do Anglesey.

What I didn't want to happen was for people to book Bruntingthorpe not knowing that there would be a spring IMOC trackday at Anglesey.

Please be reassured that disussions are ongoing. Full details will be posted by December 2nd at the very latest.

We just need to organise a conference call with BaT when everyone is available.

Best regards,

Tom

...especially after a Honda S2000 has deposited its fluids all over the track there
( those who were there last time will know what I mean  )

After chattin with G it seems likely the 'Red' one and not the 'Tango' - as I havent even got the suspension done yet  (will be one of those when i get round to it / afford it scenarios!)

But i could always easily be persuaded to take the ol' sc for a spin Tom

i would really love to take the tango on track tho', so someday.....

Open pit lane - probably. Would be the best option IMHO.
How much? - watch this space :)
