In my opinion I see random private messages as an invasion of privacy to be honest.
If i wasn't intrested in the elections I wouldn't want to get pm's of candidates telling me that I should vote for them.
If people wanna decide who to vote for they should look at a manifesto or their personal experience of that person.

Just my personal opinion on the matter.

If the mods/admin were to pm everyone with something.... like "there is an election running please vote" That would probably be ok.... but getting several pm's saying vote for me would probaly be annoying... like spam e-mails

Only because I've signed up 60 new accounts on random spoofed IPs and voted for myself.

Harris? He's a good artist, but I can't see the relevance. If I were a mod I'd ban yo' ass for going off topic.

btw, I think I'll give my vote to you, in fact Steve is so great I'd also encourage everyone to vote for Steve (Goto10) over and above anyone else, myself included.

Darn that edit button! As long as you don't edit what you just said there too...

I think you'll find anyone who has voted but has registered very recently or has low or no posts will be subject to a bit of poking

Just for refernce - its been pointed out that with the clocks going back last weekend the poll will appear to finish one hour earlier than Lauren's original post, but in actual elapsed hours with respect to GMT the poll has been open 7 Days.

Good luck to all the candidates - will be good to see the results shortly.

Congrats Mark Edwards, michael, RedMR2, Goto10, LDavies83!!!
=D>

There is a tie for 6th place between ENSMR2 and Scott Barton, so a decider will be needed.

I'll step down and let the two of them take the positions, they both demonstrated far more enthusiasm that I did :)

tbh michael, that's not very fair on those that voted for you.
If that's the only reason, I personally wouldn't accept it.
If you no longer want to do the job, then that is a different matter.

So do you have anything further to add, or were you just leading us up the garden path by nominating yourself?
