Now I realise the car was actually a shade of pink before it got painted, went for super red 5 which also looked a bit deeper.

I collected the car last night,I still have a few bits to do but it's looking nice, work has been done as follows

Car stripped
Passenger sill and inner sill repaired
Small repair on a pillar
Small repair on drivers sill
Ariel removed and welded over
Windscreen and quarter windows removed
A pillar seals and top of door seals removed
Car painted in super red 5
Single side vents fitted
New windscreen
Replacement quarter windows
Replacement rear lights
Replacement a pillar seals
Replacement seals for top of doors
Fitted cusco rear brace and aftermarket front
Front spare wheel cover fitted
Bought a space saver
Made a start on my leather celica seats today

Still need to sort

Front indicators now look tatty
Fit tein springs
Refit some of the interior
Fit red couplings on intercooler
Fit new coil

The car is going off the road for winter so I'll replace the radiator for an alloy one, replace coolant hoses in engine bay and have a tidy up of the engine bay,and possibley get my hands on a new turbo at the start of the year, just need to wait and see

Cheers guys!

The red was an impulse buy and it took a while for me to like it after having a black mr2 previously. Love the red now though, just need to make sure it stays red now!

I'm not going to mesh my side vents,I quite like it open. May do the front bumper when I replace the radiator though. When you getting the mesh?

I started really liking the yellow ones when I first saw the one Rory I think it was had, then he robbed the engine out of it for his anniversary project! the yellow one was a really nice car. The silver one isn't too shabby though!!

Dude that looks epic, I want mine painted now! :D

Only thing I'd change is the number plate location. Blocking off air to the radiator.

I had a small plate in the same location and got fined twice, once while waiting for new plates to arrive, on my apexi commander it has shown 2 degrees higher water temps with the plate there, which is a fair bit! I'll need to have a look and see what other folk have done with theirs. My mate made me a stick on plate which can go on the bumper a while back but im sure they will also be illegal now(or never were legal) . Looking at the original plate to the one that's on now the gig one looks crap there!
