Looking forward to this, just hope I can keep up. A service on the car beforehand methinks!

Oil change on Saturday in preparation. Proverbial fingers are crossed that nothing goes pop as this will be the first extended bout of 'spirited driving' my turbo will have seen with me at the wheel... gulp.

I'll also be bringing a pump in case the dodgy valve on my front nearside decides to start being dodgy again.

If all goes well it's the last outing before she goes under the welder's torch.

I won't know until the last minute if I will be there, I am waiting for a circuit board for the Paseo, that controls all the internal functions like mirrors, windows, indicators, fan, stereo etc. But being an import its taken ages (and the help of Jaspa) to get details of the part number.

I am not sure if it will be ready, if it won't be then I will have no vehicle to attend and I am not sure I will be allowed to take the XK8 S/C out on the run.

I would love to, but getting to borrow it is an issue.

I have the part on order now, thanks to Jaspa for some sterling research, and hopefully it will be here for the weekend, in which case I can plug it in and get going :thumleft:

Well the problem is deeper than originally thought. Have no idea what is wrong, but its not what my mechanic found.

so apologies, but I have no car for the run tomorrow and have to bow out. going to be spending the day working on the 2 methinks.
