Do you think these would be usable in a MK1, or other light vehicle?

In a light vehicle maybe. MK1s aren't light!

Without going Caterham/Ariel/etc light, though. In a normal road vehicle. Someone mentioned estimate 200hp, which ought to do the job! I suppose not if at 12,000rpm though.

Perhaps that's wasting the engines, though...

What have you done with these engines?
I have also such an engine , also slide throttle and drysumped, steel rods and 2 ring pistons !
Im looking for a spare engine !
