your right to want a tin top imo. I much prefer my tin top to the t bar and its not like im an open top hater either. its just the tin top is to much of a compremise without really giving that much. Plus alot of the tbars for sale have rust starting around the tops too. not a sign of this on tin tops.
had mine for sale only on here though, thought it would have gained more interest tbh.

Yep I agree with you on that Nails. I would barely use a t bar in this country so don't want the extra weight or any other associated problems!

Good luck with your sale btw!

Yep I'm starting to see that to get my ideal mr2 I might have to budget for a bit of work also! Mint ones don't seem to come up for sale very often!

My current car is getting ever so slightly boring after the novelty of filling up for less than £50 has worn off!

And I can't use the image posting tool properly!

Is it only Photobucket that works or have I done something stupid?

That is because that isn't an image flicker don't let you link unless you set it too. Photobucket is better.

That is the same as my little fiesta..

I was using the 2 as a daily runner but the cost became prohibitive. It is much cheaper to run the fiesta. :-) and use the 2 as a toy.. you really appreciate the power then.

Ah ok!

I see you have the Ghia model, very flash I must say! :)

Yep bought the Fiesta to replace an E39 530i Sport as fuel was getting a bit pricey for commuting. Decided I'm not that bothered about fuel economy after living with no power for a few months now! #-o

Yup brilliant little motor for £700. I'm happy with driving about not spending much on fuel.

The little zetec engine is quite poky for a 1.4 I have to admit. Nothing in comparison to the 2 but I like the fact that when i put £60 in the 2 I don't have to worry about how long it is going to last. I can just drive it for fun.

That is a good point, maybe I should be thinking of an mr2 as a second car! The Fiesta is a bit boring being the 1.25 but as you say pokier than you'd expect for its size!

Mine was only £250 so I could spend nothing on running it as I don't really mind how long it lasts. Then all my extra cash could be spent on a 2!
