Rob66 with a little help from fimmo and the right tools rev3 spoiler just bolts off and rev5 fits on with no worries at all. I will say have a magnet handy as nearly lost a nut and from what fimmo tells me its not fun trying to fish it out the boot lid.

RedMr2 thanks for moving my post was going to start new thread but this is a lot easier :D

Fitted front set of mudflaps to car today, will post picture up at some point. Got them from Peter @ sbits very happy with them and they were sent out very quick. Just looking for rears now.

Cheers MR2HOT, Sam are you from the Kirkcaldy area too? Seen plenty in the local area but not sure how many people are on the forum.

Small update. Planning a little drive with a few mates soon so thought I should give the car a little service, strip and clean all the breaks and replace the 'cancer bars'.

Service kits less a fuel filter as one was fitted in april just past. Also the air filter was still very very clean so saved one that I've just bought for the next service. So oil and plugs it was.

Face down ass up!

New vs Old. These had seen better days.

On the car looking a lot better.

All went well! Only small issue I have is that when the car in near on full lock turning left there is a squeeking noise. Had a noise from the caliper before hand which happend when the brake was applied. Turned out the bottom caliper carrier slide was.....well lets say not good! The rubber boot that seals it was totally burst. After a strip and clean it sounded a lot better, just now on near full lock to the right theres a noise. Take a sharp turn to the left and at low speed its there. My thinking is that it might just need a new carrier but just woundered if anyone else had any thoughts on this?

Cheers Marc
