Russ if you read through the thread every driver was handed a leaflet asking them to not do exactly what your friend did. Each driver was spoken to. How much more is needed really?

Sorry to sound grumpy but his actions have probably had a popular meet cancelled.

I suggest your word with him includes the phrase 'don't go back', he upset a major meet last night and could have had it banned. There are a lot of grumpy owners who he probably shouldn't meet again...

Please don't tell me that none of you have ever had your car sideways, j-turned, flaming 360's etc

Oh yes i always leave the meet going sideways [-(

Tell him NOT to come back, if the meet is ever going ahead again
Thanks for that!

Not in the carpark at bluewater, no..

what is a flaming 360 anyway? is it like a 'flaming shelia' or more like a pina colada?

Sorry

Sorry, trying to respond between working and didn't catch the bit about leaflets. In that case you have the right to be "grumpy" or in fact pertty
"fooked off".

As i said i'm not 100% if this is my mate and i hope this meet isn't cancelled. I sold my tubby to JimGts about a year ago and never made it to BW.

I'm now looking to get back into it and would hate to have these events permanently terminated.

As i siad though, maybe advising of meets by a post but getting details by PM is the answer, that way you can track who goes, who fooks about and then they can be given a good verbal spanking !

Before I start, dont feel I'm attacking you. Your not to blame in the slightest, infact I admire the fact that you have said you think you know the person.

IF your friend was the guy who drove like a prat despite the warning and infront of a security guard, he is directly to blame. You cant put it back at the organiser or anyone else. He needs to understand its HIS and his friends actions that may well have destroyed this event.

We all know how much fun Jap cars are, but we save it for those times when its appropriate. Does everyone whos at the jap meet actually need to see how fast a MR2 turbo is?

This goes far deeper... Just wait for the "Yeah, some willy in an MR2 ruined the event" comments in the other forums. Not good for our reputation is it!

And spare a thought for MikeJC. His idea has created enjoyment for so many people and now, just 2 people apprear to have derailed the whole thing

I've never done any of those things...

Well I went sideways on a dual carriage way once, but that wasn't intentional.

Bloody JAE weather :(

lol, far do's.
you should see how much quicker she is now!

was running in safety mode when i got it off you (needed new temp sendor and thermostat). thats why there was a low reading on the temperature guage, and this was limiting boost. apart from them very cheap items, the engine pucka! had absolutly no problems what so ever.
then increased boost to 15psi (just over 1BAR), and advanced timing 2degrees, copper cold plugs, induction. soon to be downpipe and twin exit exhaust (with any luck) .

altho, if i were you, id buy a rev3!

they need their designer clothes and ''crew'' of friends to help them bolster up their ego =; , money shallow monkeys in my opinion, strut around like they think everyone admires them for some idiotic reason when all we really wanna do is give em a good filling in and a lesson in manners.

CHAVS ARE... money grabbing, brain dead, chicken livered, dich nosed, gutter swilling, pond life ....imo anyways lol O:)

Once again I'm reading the above and thinking it's just a shame that more like minded people such as your good selves are not the only type of person in attendance at the Bluewater meet!

Talks are already being arranged with the powers that be @ Bluewater. Until these talks have taken place i'm afraid that their will no longer be an official Bluewater meet for now at least. This is born out of not wanting to aggitate an already thin iced situation and with an aim for the meet to once more see the light of day before all bridges are burnt with the good folks of Bluewater!

Some times the only way to sort things out is to strip things back to their basic shell and rebuild. If all could spread the word to all that they know of the present situation I would be most grateful. As mentioned I don't doubt that those who are not on the forums and even some that are will still no doubt attend the meet as per usuall. At the end of the day their is little that I can personally do to stop this from happening, however I would ask those people to stop and realise that by doing so you will only be fueling the fire, as it were! So please keep away until we have have had the time to put things in order

I will report back with up dates every step of the for those that are interested. I'd also like to once again thank all of you for you continued support regarding this matter =D> It's taken a long time to get this meet to where it is and believe me when I tell you that i'll not be letting it slip away without a fight! :D

Best,

Mikejc

Ps...........i'd just like to say a quick thanks and a hat's off the good chap Franky for printing out last nights flyers, a great job was made of them i'm sure all will agree :thumleft:
