Milton Keynes/Classic car show meet Sunday 7th August

I hope to see as many people tomorrow turn up at 10am and ready to leave by 10.30am.
If all the people who are expected arrive before 10.30am we will leave as it means we can get parked on our pitch before the Mayors speech begins.

Well although only 3 people turned up it was nonetheless an enjoyable meet.

Good to meet you Garrick.

The weather was nice when the sun came out and got hotter as the day went on.

Surprisingly our mk1's were the only Jap cars on show.....and we got loads of attention. People were impressed by the mid engined mk1's.
Pics were taken of our cars too from youngsters and elderlies...

Quite a good turnout considering this venue was only organised 2 weeks before today.
Sorry to Garrick for having to trudge his car along the field with a suspect shock absorber....

Hopefully this event will be even bigegr next year.
It would be good to get some old skool Jap cars into it.

It was good to meet you guys. Pity there weren't more cars there, but as you said Steve, the even was organised with little notice to any of the clubs.

I managed to leave my digi camera in a work van on Friday so I only took a few shots with my phone - so excuse the quality
