My pride and joy that I have owned for ten years now, just about shaken most of it's bad reputation as a chav car off now.

Not sure ounts as a classic: ST182.
It does for the runaround, carting stuff around, picking up the family, carrying my excessive amount of tools etc

My other cars are a 1973 GT6 and a 1991 205 XS.

The 205 breaks my rules on not buying front wheel drive cars but it's a present for somebody so it goes soon.

Can't post pictures :(

Love the GT6, very nice car and may be the next restoration project once the current one's complete and we have a load more space.

I don't have a 2nd classic unless you count a 94 Smurf.

Apparently now rated as a bit of a classic - my 2000 UK R34GTR V-Spec of course...which is currently in the garage with a defunct MFD. :(

beautiful car, just wish I could use it more.....
Just rebuilt the top end and the carbs, need to swap the diff, sort out the rear ride height, gearbox oil leak, Slow indicators, random earth faults. reweld the bumper bar as I managed to warp it welding in a new outrigger........

And the list goes on.

Other than those few things I do love this car, I must use it more this year. I don't have a stereo but who cares with the roar of the stright six :)

If I don't get 500 miles on it by the end of May it's going up for sale.

 Typical classic car.

Don't kill me but I've had inklings of restoring the chassis and putting something different under the bonnet. e.g S2000 engine and drivetrain or N/A Supra engine & running gear. 8-[

Funny that

I planned to fit an s2000 engine when first looking at the GT6.

Once I'd driven one one decided it'd be more suited to an SR20DE or a 4age. After buying and driving it for a few weeks the sound convinced me other wise. It's the best car for a sunny drive to the cotswolds a beer and sunday roast, It's never going to be a modern fast sports car. For me I'll keep the MR2 put a faster engine in that, and the GT6 stays stock ( well period at least) and I get that lovely roar. To me it sounds like a tornado :D :D :D

If you want a fast GT6 look up ww.triumphspitfirelemans.co.uk and see how to loss 200kg

This is my current classic.

1983 Audi quattro turbo.

Image

Original engine was pretty much shot to bits so i sourced a 20 valve turbo motor as a replacement.
Thats now lodged in the engine bay whilst i rewire the vehicle harness to accept the motronic ecu...oh fun.

I've always wanted a Citroen DS but my sensible side always stops me buying one.
