Let me know how that goes, aslong as you don't start doing at the foul ford probes as I'm sure a few have done before, then you realise the ugliness of one :-$ I've fallen for it before, oops!

Similar story but I always wave :) .. yesterday I flashed my lights at a 'middle-aged' female lady and she grined and waved, a very feel-good moment. I still wave to Mk3 owners but no-one has ever waved back and I get that 'I'm not looking at you so I didn't see you' kinda look if you know what I mean? I always want to wave at Supras but I'm a little scared of their sheer beastyness! Keep waving I say!

Ive stopped waving / flashing now. I have spotted only 3 2's on the road in my area and not one of them responded.. The thing is 2 of the 3 I spotted were all NA's and didnt look that well looked so to them its just a normal car. One I thought would have flashed was a Veilside kitted NA. Got infront of him, put the 4 ways on and nothing :(

I think you will get more of a wave from MR2 Turbo drivers

I wave at all MR2's when I'm in my truck as I still can't drive my MR2 but I have only ever had 1 wave back and I see ALOT of MR2's.

Spose thats fair as they dont know why I'm waving. :-k

I have started waving at Supras now, since I have discovered I know someone who lives in MK who owns 2 MKIVs :)

Flashing at probes? sounds none car related to me! haha.

I seem to have a lot of luck with waving etc.
I saw a nice blue Mk2 in lichfield with what looked like an aeroware lip etc and waved and got a nice wave back from both driver and passenger!

When I first bought the car an older bloke saw me and immediatley waved from his mk2 with his wife.
I had a long chat with a bloke with a rev5 I saw under tescos car park in lich too.

I must be a lucky one!
I don't, however, wave at shitly modified ones that are obviously not cared for, as just because they own an MR2 doesn't mean I automatically want to know them!

I flashed at a red Mk1 on Saturday but they ignored me. I was suprised as I think MK1's are more rare than MK2's. :?

I don't flash at MK2's as I am not entirely sure a MK2 would wave back at a MK1. Also had a staring contest with MK2 recently as we went roundabout together in my home town but he looked very grumpy at me.

I would wave if I ever saw another mr2, Since owning mine for almost a year, Ive seen One N/A white one, but the driver never waved back. If you spot a tidy(ish) white mk2 turbo with dodgy Veilside kit, please wave!! \:D/ Its most likely me around Farnborough area.
Ill keep my eyes peeled for all Mr2's
