Kongaroo wrote:Sheppy - were your RX8 alloys 18" diameter? If they are then I agree it does sound a lot of effort to fit a non-staggered set of 18x8 alloys.

Race - I seem to recall that the standard RX7 FD wheels 16x8 ET50 all around as I had considered buying a set a while back and had looked it up at the time. I may be wrong though.

yeah they are 18", trust me, unless you come across a set for free it's really not worth the hassle, although with coilovers they might fit right on without messing about, the problem is that the inside edge of the wheel rubs against the strut, the wheels i had were off my rx8 so they were surplus to requirements, hence chucking them on the 2 :thumleft:

the offset is where the rest of the wheel sits in comparison to where it attaches at the hub, it's hard to explain without pics to be honest, i don't think the fd wheels are the same as the rx8 :thumleft:

Researched it abit last night and the offset on the rx7 fd's wheels is 40 mm and the offset on standard mr2 wheels 45mm, so to say they're like an inch bigger in diameter, they should fit pretty snug under there wi the right tyres on and maybe a 10mm spacer? just missed out on a good set on ebay, sold for £51! Nuts! Any idea's where to get a set a these? dave.
