car is looking much better chris, wasn't much of a fan of the veilside, looks awesome now ...
i know where your coming from though, i have had the border bumper for a few years and needed a change :-k

its really funny though because some mr2 bodykits look well different yet really nice so with a quick change of a bodykit you have a nice new car, well sort off :-k ,

Thats one of the reasons I have changed the looks, needed it to look like a differant car to justify how much has been spent on the engine side  I think it has worked well tho :thumleft:

Cheers for all the good feedback and comments folks

im no expert here but your under body scoop, feeding the i/c. its pushing air up into it, is that not causeing rear end lift? would a top end scoop pushing air down onto it not be better? then maybe fit a rear diffuser to flow the air out the back..

Nope, it's tried and tested this method. It is much more efficient than top feeding. There is not enough airflow from the top. My IC is huge, a little scooby or similar scoop would do nothing. The back of the centre panel is hollow and I will also cut out the rear panel to allow more air release from the boot,

Mine is seriously loud!! However it is a 4" straight through pipe  I reckon if you fit a 3" system with a decent box, it would be OK. I had to have the thermostat outlet pipe modified to fit the 4" jobby so you might have to do the same for a 3" :-k

Looks good Chris.

Be interested to hear how you get on with the bootmount, as still not absolutely sure on mine yet.

Agree with the orange corners

Cheers Harry. :D I am still undecided about the lights at the front. I am liking the new look though.

Jimbob, was looking at your car at Simons the other day. Looks nice :thumleft: My set up in the boot is exactly the same as Si's in design. Works on his, gotta work on mine . Maybe you just need to simplify your set up abit. It looks really complicated. :-k

Car looks very sweet mate

Nice work :thumleft: Only thing I think that lets it down is the amber indicators. Smoked or clear fronts would finish it off perfectly imo.

The amber/white indicators seem to make the car look older.

Just my opinion mind. Still looks v. tasty! 8)

That's awesome mate.

So no lift or drag with that panel for the i/c?

If you don't mind me asking, how much have you spent on the engine?
