I love driving at night and seeing the headlights sticking up. Just like two devil horns  (though I still feel like a knob when I flash people out at junctions!).

Why Thats one of the awesome bits always get a smile when you pop the lights and flash someone.

Except if you have your side lights on and flash....and they stay up!

I know there is a wiring mod for this but have not got round to doing it yet. ](*,)

ive got this from buying a lazy eye kit dont know if it works havent tried yet.
1)in the front of fuse box you will see a blue box, slide this box off metal holder.
2)remove white plug from bottom.
find pin six on connector,if you look carefully at the bottom of the connector there are numbers that designate the pins.
4)there should be a red (sometimes red/silver) wire comming out of it, cut this wire and put some electrical tape on the ends to stop them touching anything.
5)replace the plug and slide blue box back onto metal frame.
6) now your headlights will go back down on sidelights when you flash.

i love the curves of the car all the new ones are to boxey and its the poor mans ferrari ,i love the lights and indicators its such a nice car to drive :thumleft: :thumleft:
she's all comming together nicely now after a fair bit of cash spent, not bad for just an n/a now for some body kit i think.

The sound of the turbo and the fact it comes from behind you. It is amusing when someone gets in and says whats that funny noise or when people who know a bit more about cars always say they expect that sound to come from the front!

There are not many things that are as satisfying as when you come on boost. It works. It goes. Its like skating on ice, its just a nice feeling to be moving when it all works and you can hear it singing.

i like the stock emergency flare that comes mounted in the footwell on the imports 8)

and the boiling / gurguling noises that come from the expansion tank when you shut down. makes people paranoid that the HG's blown lol

another big+ for me is the premium sound system with the 2 subs, slapped a new HU into it, and it's the 1st car i've owned that i can't be bothered to change the speakers on.

Damn right.. I searched high and low for some 2ohm speakers for mine to give that right boom boom as the originals are made out of paper! Audi TT's had them in the door pockets by the way..

I never noticed that the seatbelts retracted when you opened the doors. What a sweet touch, wondered why they just flopped about, then next time I noticed they were retracted ](*,)

I just like the seating position, one arm rests on the centre tunnel the other is perfect on the window sill, you feel closseted in the car.

The turbo spooling sound up makes it feel like your driving a plane and not a car!
