Come mid 2010 the guildford route will change to take in the Devils Punchbowl Hindhead 1.5mile long tunnels that are being built at the moment. :thumleft:

No doubt they'll be ridden with speed/average speed/tax/dirty underwear/number plate recognition cameras.

Nope Because its on my doorsstep and i fully intend to abuse it on a regular basis just thermal imaging cameras and flow movement cameras nothing traffic enforcment based.

Its a 2 laner Last time we did this we got everyone lined up and slowed the traffic to clear the tunnel then 25 MR2s hooned through it in a wall of sound and noise It was orgasmic!

Yes I have an MR2 and may be about two other MR2's who may come but that doesn't mean I drive with only MR2's.

Are your racist against other Jap cars then?

Not being funny but it is an MR2 meet. Obviously there is no way to "police" the arrival of other cars, be it Jap, Yank, Euro or any other. But would you go on a Cosworth meet and tell them you're bringing 15 MR2s with you? :-k Personally I'd feel like a knob turning up to a Cosworth meet in my MR2.

I think it should remain as close to MR2 only as possible, otherwise we're losing what the meet is all about.

You can't be racist against other Jap cars? They're all Japanese!!! :D

I'd say keep the G'Run as MR2 only, we all appreciate other jap metal so could always organise a seperate meet for all marques, bearing in mind that the Hamshire Jap Car Club etc also have monthly runs in similar areas (usually starting from West Meon Hut where the G'Run ends or Long Bridge Mill up nr Reading) no reason we couldn't all tag onto one of those! :thumleft:

How do people feel about incorparating a Rolling Road day up at Surrey RR into a Guildford meet?

Could be quite difficult as the Guildford meet generally heads in the opposite direction, and the RR takes up a lot of the day. However, I like the idea of a pre rolling road meet with a convoy to the Dyno.

Last one I went too only 3 of us turned up #-o

Was the only one I managed to get to. If the car is back out to play in 2010 then I'll be at more.
