I often watch football on my PC via live streaming, is there any way to like that to my 360 and watch it in my room on my TV?
Need to get yourself an AV receiver mat and some decent speakers, especially if you want to fully enjoy bioshock 2!
Huh?
I have a surround sound amp hooked up to the Xbox?
Did you not say it was a bit crap? I love my amp/speakers, saved my ass manys a time on COD4 when you hear someone coming up behind you
Was just thinking of a way for you to connect your pc to your tv, but if one of them wired into your router then ass sheppy says you could just stream it from media player

Tell me about it - I don't mind too much, every time we visit he normally cleans my car for me (even when i turn up in my old mans Navara ) He's a pretty sound lad too
Thanks for the responses though lads, i understand "most" of whats been posted
If i can get away with buying him a white xbox i.e. cheaper i will, but if not the Elites sound quite reliable
The cheaper white ones are as reliable as the elites, wouldn't worry anyway as they all come with a 3 year warranty 60gb is plenty of storage, i have an elite with 120gb but i'm still using my 20gb hard drive from my first 360 as i'm too lazy to send away for the migration kit
matt_mr2t wrote:Can you buy the 60gb HDD on it's own?
yeah, i'm sure i seen one in pc world, you can buy an external hard drive for it too, doesn't have to be xbox specific. the xbox has 3 usb ports so as long as the external hard drive is usb it should be fine.

Ever tried this?
Surely to do it you'd need to have a disc to install and if it's not an Xbox disc it'll throw a hissy fit?
nah you dont have to I got a seagate 320gb external harddrive hooked up to my xbox and it works absolutely fine!
no disc to install or anything just plug the usb in and switch on!

Such as downloaded demo's, music, saved game progress etc?
yeah, it normally asks you that anyway, but with another HD it will give you that as an option as well, aparently keyboeads and mouse' will work too, for using internet browser or messenger, although i've never seen this done.
I've got a seagate 500gb HD and it doesn't work the light comes on the HD when you connect it to the 360 but there's no sign of it on the dashboard, is there any settings that need enabled?
Found out why mine won't work, mines NTFS type, needs to be FAT32 for the 360 to recognise it, currently converting the empty space at the minute but windows restricts it to 32gb, downloading a little 3rd party tool to combine the 32gb sections into one big one
As most know I replaced mine 2 weeks ago and after approx 10 hours play spread over the 2 weeks I got 3 red rings flash up yesterday!!!
Luckily it swithed back on straiight after but microsoft should have sorted out the new ones especially as they know it's going to happen.
Just to bring a close to this thread - my g.f has just ordered an Xbox Elite from Amazon for just over £200 and also purchased "Dead Space" for just a tenner at the same time
Now working all next weekend to pay for it...
Thanks again for all the input guys!

Damn good price mate!
Dead Space is an excellent game....light off, surround sound up loud and play it on your own!
Then go and buy GOW2 straight away!
