Dont understand why the original xbox doesnt have an HDMI lead. It brags on about HD quality all the time...

You still get HD gaming via the componant and VGA leads mate. Just that HDMI is the best media out at the moment.

I've had my 360 running via componant for well over a year now. Just that my Elite has HDMI so now I'm using that!

It doesn't make 'that' much difference mate, most people could hardly tell the difference...but I can!

Just dont see why they didnt put it when HDMI is on HD TV's, is the best form and it's not on the xbox.

How is the 360 HD DVD player linked? Does it play via the 360 or via it's own lead into the TV?

Via the 360 bud. I havn't got one, but they are worth getting now, £100 with FIVE HD DVDs!!

play.com are doing them for about £100.

Once you get one you send off a form to Mircosoft and they give you 5 HD DVDs!
