Japfest pre-meet details

For those who want to convoy in to the show together, there will be a pre-meet at Tesco Towcester. This is only 5 miles from the venue. There is a Shell petrol station across the road if you need to fuel up.

Meet time: 7.30AM

Leave time: 7.45AM

We'll be leaving the carpark at 7.45am on the dot, from experience it may only be 5 miles down the road but it takes a bit of time to get there due to traffic volume. This worked fine last year though.

This is completely optional, if you want to go there directly we'll see you on the stand. Japfest should publish a stand list soon!

Guys there will be a wrist band for each club stand member this year. Please see either myself, Gaz or Scott when you arrive and they will be given out. You will get access to a better viewing area of the drift kings and a Japfest sticker.

I changed the oil again, there doesn't appear to be any gold flecks that I could see. I think that it was something already in the bucket it was an old bucket that had been used to many different things.

It is running really well so I think I am in the clear.

Just seen the map. GT86 BRZ Drivers Club and Corolla Brotherhood is in the same section, so we are close unlike last year. Will pop over.

I am phoning Japfest now, to try and get your ticket/mirror hanger registration changed to yours. I will ask them to change the reg and email the amended ticket to you if possible.

Mark - The reg has been amended and I have informed them that it will be yourself instead of Tony going.

Slight problem - They can only email the amended ticket to the original email address provided by Tony. So Tony needs to email you the amended ticket, please PM him and get him to forward it to yourself.

Ive printed out from the link tonym sent me yesterday and it had my reg on the club pass. Still has tonym name on the tickets and that but i cant see that being an issue unless they ask for id.
Ive messaged tonym if he could send me the new link they send him but im guessing what i have already would be ok.

You'll be fine, they won't be checking in any great detail as they've got 1000's of cars to get through the gates in a short period of time. As long as the code on the pass and the ticket scans and the reg matches, they'll be happy I think.

Thanks gaz. I used the same link that tonym sent me yesterday before dan changed it so japfest must have just changed what was on that link today as it had my reg on it so should all be good. Still got tonys name but i cant see that being a problem. It has my reg now so should be all good.

Looking at the Japfest site, it says you need photo ID along with the ticket?
