You might indeed ;), and a few others (Chris/tiamat for example).

For the rest of you - if you are going to be travelling up the day before, speak to Kirsty about evening entertainment, and she'll sort you out ;)

Oh- edit to add - it might be possible to do camping at Draycote Water (not far from Stoneleigh at all). They might not do it still, but might be worth a try:

I'll start looking at our accomodation options over the weekend. Will be good to get a gang of us out and about for the night . . . . .
As Anna said, drop me a PM if you're interested in overnight (god, I almost said entertainment there!!!! that would sound dodgy!! ) accommodation so I have an idea of numbers.

Cheers

I like green, green is good, calm, restful on the eyes.

But to quote a certain famous frog, 'it's not easy being green', so you can understand Malcolm wanting purple. :D

MR2 Only Project mk1 should be good to come to Warwick, failed MOT Saturday on a directional tyre on wrong way (now sorted) and n/s handbrake no working, had to cheat on this one as im letting the garage fix it because I have no time this week, good news is it should have a fresh MOT certificate in the next 2 days or so.

Will also need to know whether to bring the sill skins along to the show if they are of any use to any on the day, if so we may have to come down in two cars. Id like to get photos of these being fitted.

For the MR2 Only Mk1 I have the ST185 brake upgrade kit, calipers, pads, and re-drilled 4 stud discs, a box of service items from BOK Motorsport, to fit, and by then hopefully some track springs, and I can bring along a spare clutch slave cylinder, that could do with fitting (although it seems okay again now) oh, and she now has a collapsed jacking point that needs a spot of welding, as I may have been a bit feisty with our new trolley jack yesterday.

Plus Ive saved 5 pages in MR2 Only mag for lots of photos of the day.

Again Im more than willing to print out some stuff for displays etc, Ive an A3 colour laser printer on my desk at work, and a large format colour printer, but please, please dont leave it until last minute though.

:thumleft: I've sent you a PM steve.

Great news about the space in the mag for the write up, and I'll probably take you up on the offer of some printing. :D

Just another thought...

I will also dig out previous mk1 articles we have ran in the mag, such as rust proofing the mk1, and replacing the drop links, and blow them up to A3 in colour, and Ive another article coming this week on a rear brake upgrade, im sure the author wont mind us using it at the show.

Kirsty, things are conspiring against me, I really can't confirm :(

If I can make it I will and just pay on the gate. If my tools are required I'll drop them off at someones house - maybe Unleash is the closest to me I believe.....

Unless anyone else lives closer to Ripley, just North of Derby

That'll keep us busy, I was a little concerned that there wouldn't be enough to do!

So can someone put up a list of the exact jobs to be done to the car?

So then we can plan who is going to do what, when, how, why and whenever that day and not be falling all over each other.
