they will just say but only 3 or 4 of those are out at the min so why should i bother waiting... the fact of the matter is the 360 has 2 years on the ps3 (in uk anyway) and the people that brought one around then will say the 360 is better.
if they were released the same time i can garentee there would be alot more umming an arrring but the 360 has 2 years on the ps3 so people are gonna back it. well atleast for now anyway

i bought a 360 when it came out and imo i thought it was poo, so sold it within a month.

got the ps3 on the week it came out and i cant believe people still play the 360. it is nothing compared to the ps3, i could not imagine my life without one. i use it everyday. movies music and the best games. oh i also recomend downloading folding at home on the psn, helping find cures for cancer aids and such and such. and you can see everyones ps3 that is online at that time. great bit of program.

and i know it 360 can do all that but atleast the ps3 has slightly bigger text size so you can read it during games.

Tis a pity you say that, I'm happy that i've had my £18's worth (play.com) of GT5P already.

Where have I ever said that the games are poor for the Xbox?

I wouldn't criticise a game that I had never played. This is though okay for Matt to do it seems.

If you like sims GT5P is well worth it. Still haven't managed to win a race online yet, but got a 2nd this afternoon whilst i was messing about with the car setup.

It really is great fun though and it really is bloody hard (been playing in pro physics 700pts race all bad aids off )

How long have you had it matt?

I recently picked one up for 205 quid with 2 games (Was 5 mile away from me so i could go and pick it up too )

The games are alright and i've amazed myself by not paying full price for anything.

Burnout paradise (free)
Spiderman 3 (free)
GT5 ( free bought with vouchers, should of been 20 quid)
Uncharted (15 quid)
Juiced 2 (11 quid)

Gt5 needs alot of work before they release the proper version, I prefer playing gt4 on ps2 for some reason.

I've also had an xbox 360 both good consoles but i prefer my Ps3 for sure...... Tbh though i think my PC kicks both there asses in terms of graphics and gameplay.

I would buy a 360 again simply because of gears of war and forza 2.... I luved those 2 games. I don't see why people always have to argue about which is better.... there both good enjoy what you've got.

I wouldn't call GT5P a sim..... Far from it. It's still an arcade game no matter how they try to sugar coat it.

Go jump on GT-R2 on the pc, thats a real sim.

As for pro settings and driving aids off, thats the first thing anybody should do

Don't you find GT4 on the ps2 an overall better experience? maybe i need to sit down and have a good go at it.

Yes mate, 1 month old with reciept. I just typed in on ebay ps3 within 10 mile radius then emailed all the sellers asking how much and if i could collect with cash.

Most were around the 250 mark but i struck a deal with this guy for 205 (bit of a weird amount i know) I went down the next day after work with the cash. Nice house (very posh) PS3 looked brand new.

I wouldnt of bought one from ebay if it had to be posted.... I only do collection on expensive items.

Now to scout out for a cheap xbox360 they've got to be around 100 quid second hand now

They're only £150 new on Play.com (less the component cable and HDD)

But it's less likely to die and it has HDMI output.
