We have very similar setups and funnily enough I'm due to get to married in Aug.

I'm impressed you were 2nd in the RWD Cat.

That gives me confidence with running mine at an event.

(Something I've never done before) Would you blame the tyres or weather for the accident? I mention this as I've had Toyo Proxes TR1's from new before and wasn't a fan.

The tyres i think def let me down.

It wasnt wet

(i made sure i didnt run in the wet) and i just pushed it too far.

Im sure something with better grip like ad08's and i would have been fine.

Though saying that, i should have known the limits.

The run before

, the rear end slipped a bit too but i managed to control that.

I thought now they was warmer id be ok to push it again

- i guess my take off was quicker hence me being quicker into the turn.

My brother in laws comment was i took off a lot quicker than my previous runs

("like a rocket" apparently).

The go pro footage shows me ploughing into the wall head on but i cant work out how the rest of the car was damaged.

Ive obviously spun but i would of said the way i lost it, it would have been the drivers side rear that would have been worse off but it was the passenger side rear.

Unfortunately the go pro camera dropped after the iniital head on into the wall so you cant see anything else.

I am getting a hankering to reshell, but i think i need to step back from the scene for a bit.
