We decided to do another different design for my tray and I had thought of a turbo as it was circular so fitted in with the design. I left Chris to work his magic and he came up with this,I think it looks brilliant :D I can't wait to get it fitted now!

Things have been quiet with the lately,a lack of funds and time has meant I hadn't got round to doing the jobs I wanted to get done. I sold the ct20 which allowed me to buy some toyo r1rs for the rear of the car 255-40-17s. I had these fitted and they rub quite badly so I'm off for arch rolling on Thursday and the mot on saturday.

On Friday morning my new engine lid rain tray arrived,Chris did a great job! I fitted it this morning and took a few photos.

That turbo lid is amazing Glen, bang on. I love that.

The R1Rs will certainly be interesting too. Glad you went with that advert. I'll be interested to hear back about how you find them. What have you got on the front axle? Still your Avons? I can't get R1Rs for the Vette :( I can get R888s though... At £293 a piece... I'm keen to try the AD08s you turned down however!

Who's doing your arches?

I'm going to a place called chizfab up in fife, that's the only place I could find anywhere near me. On the front of the car Ive still got the avons but I think I'll try and squeeze 225 toyos on there, the wheels were rubbing the front strut before I fitted 3mm spacers so I'm not sure how the wider tyres will go. I've not had a proper run in the car since having the tyres fitted but I was out in the wet with no issues at all.

Yeah I saw the drift cars on their website, there was a few Bmws I think.

I'm not too sure on the front arches,it's more the tyre hitting the strut that may be the issue due to the offset of my wheels.

The car passed it's not yesterday and on the way home I collected some parts from dale. Some gauges, trd front anti roll bar,led heater controls, new alternator belt, water housing and trc throttle body and bracket for paint, front arch liners to replace my destroyed ones some trim clips and a switch for the back of my ignition barrel as mine has been temperamental.

Not the best picture, they look a lot better in person

You need to solder small bulbs in and some diodes I think it is. I bought all of the bulbs etc then never actualy fitted them then bought dales controls. You could have the parts I bought as they are no use to me now.

The head unit was surprisingly cheap,I paid 129 about a year ago,it's got Bluetooth,USB/av in and parrot built in with a mic you can mount anywhere. It changes to pretty any colour you could imagine to match wit any interior. Pretty good for the money I think.

I decided to tackle a few jobs that needed doing this weekend and I'm now left with a bigger job than when I started. I was swapping the rear control arms and a bolt stripped it's thread, after hours of messing about I decided to just get peter gidden to send me up a sub frame. I replaced the front tie rods without a problem and fitted the trd anti roll bar I got a while back. I did notice both my front tyres and wearing very badly on the inside, maybe 30mm of the tyre is on the markers while the rest of the tyre has 5mm.
