That's a great photo Steve!

How did you get the effect, or is it still the 70's down there?

had a little search about a thought the Altezza was a good choice as the one we have is the RS200 so its got the 3s-ge beams blacktop
(210hp)
and most important its rwd!

go on with a bit more ecu wiring today

thats all for today.

thats all for today.

Re: Mr2 Turbo Sprint Car (Banshee)
more wiring today

wired a plug and a length of screened cable onto the crank sensor

Then wired the pc output

now moved on to the coil on plug setup

started by trimming the cables to the same length and looping the 3rd cable and shrink wraping it as its redundant.

then test fitted the cops and measured, cut and soldered the cables

We do heat pumps, solar heating and under floor heating. And sort out all the willy ups other installers make including hospital operating theaters

I had no clue what you do now, it just would have been a whole different nickname if you dealt with toilets not turbos back in the day

Nice progress Steve

Re: Mr2 Turbo Sprint Car (Banshee)

Re: Mr2 Turbo Sprint Car (Banshee)
finished work early today so thought id crack on with the wiring.

but first i had a parcel arrive

my digital boost gauge

so the 3 min job getting the cluster out

done!

When i went for a 5 min break somthing strange happened

anyway thought id paint the shroud white

all back together

very happy how it looks!

so moved back onto the cop's and soon realised there was a little modding needed

all fits fine now thats cut off

just need to fit the heat proof sleeve and wire them in.

also had a look at the emergency cut off

it'll fit somewhere like that.

does anyone make one of those panels in grp?
or have one thats not cracked everywhere?

Re: Mr2 Turbo Sprint Car (Banshee)
Excellent as always.
The cluster is a huge improvement

What made you opt for digital over analogue?

Re: Mr2 Turbo Sprint Car (Banshee)
cheers!

i thought the digital display would be much easyer to read plus where its fitted.
i had the old gauge in the centre console and it was a little hard to just glance at to read when i was flat out.
thats the only reason.
oh and dads one looks phat!
