Anyone in the Frome/Bath Somerset area that knows how to fit a downpipe?
As above really guys, need to get my dodgy cat off ASAP and the downpipe on, was wondering if anyone was around in the area that has the tools/expertise for the job! Money is obviously on offer!

Ever thought of giving it a go yourself? Obviusly I can't help as im 300+miles away
If you have the tools, not hard job if you know how to undo bolts se WD40 and apply paste etc...
Best thing to do is chuck some old clothes on, get it jacked up and on stands then slide under and have a look at what needs doing.
If its still got all the heatshield on then it may be a big job.
If no luck then try a garage, 1 hour labour id say.
Why'd you want your cat out anyway? Its illegal for cars registered after mid year 92 or 93.

I would try it but just dont fancy it to be honest, horror stories of bolts being rusted solid and angle grinders needed etc etc...just dont have the tools or the know how if something goes wrong.
Car wont be illegal, its an import remember so its after 95' IIRC.
Cat's shagged as the last owner tried gutting it but made a bit of a hash of it so now its just blocking the exhaust i think, turbo isnt spooling properly (3S agreed this will be the problem).

be warned, its not a 1 hour job to remove the cat on a turbo, more like 6 hours + if things become troublesome, plus some of the bolts can be tricky, so make sure you have a good supply of tools

I think Skywalker is still doing his £80 Gut or DP fit and he would not be that far when your back at college
