Funny you should say white mate as I was cleaning my wheels the other day with a foam cleaner that left them completely white for a minute, and I thought 'cool'.

Not sure though. I like it, but I was wanting to keep her quite classy at the same time.

looked lovely and clean with the wheels just silver.

but i think gunmetal and a polished lip is the way forward for red cars :thumleft:

my new wheels on my black rev3 are 16" 5 spokes, painted honda brilliant white (pearl) with a purple lip.

heres a pic of what the wheels look like so far :

Nice wheels Taylor. I'll be interested to see how they turn out.

What paint are you using on them? I've always had wheels refurbished professionally using powder coating but I'm interested to see if owner-sprayed wheels will be resiliant to stone chips etc.

i'm using a 2 pac paint from a honda, 'brilliant white'

its going to have a purple lip painted too, just the outer edge, nothing OTT :thumleft:

if you give them a few nice coats of paint and lacquer, they're quite resistant to stone chips, just as much as powdercoated wheels :thumleft:

Thats exactly how mine used to look Steve, nice, just looking for something different with these different wheels.

You want to get some of that tinting spray for your rear lights, makes a hell of a difference on a red MR2. See mine in my garage. Just mask off the light pods and reflectors.

yeah i know what you mean, i've had those wheels for about 4 years+ now.

i think when i eventually get round to getting my splitrims refurbed they will be fully polished :thumleft:

i did plan on tinting the rear lights red, i just never got round to it 8-[

Always did like those wheels Steve. Are you running spacers on those too? They seem to fill the arches really well.

nah no spacers, just 17x7 et35 (215/40) 17x8 et35 (245/40), they fill the arches well, but my tom's one are better (17x8 et30, 17x9 et29) :thumleft:

Strange that, my OZ wheels are the same spec with the same sized tyres and mine don't fit as flush.

Maybe because my car isn't lowered?
