[Mk2] [Turbo] Opinions please - grill now bent up - fog removed. Pic

Right, I've been looking at the rear of my car and having a think. Tomorrow I am going to remove the bolt on fog light off the grill, bend up the grill and polish my exhaust.

I currently have my lights working as four tail/brake and going to remove the brake feed to the inner lights and re-feed with the fog light supply.

Opinions on which looks best:

How the car looks now:


And how it used to look with the grill bent up and no fog light.


2 options:

a) leave it as is with 4 tail and brake with grill down and fog light in place

b) Remove fog light, rewire into inners and bend up grill and shine up the exhaust.

Cheers dude, I'm kind of leaning toward option b, but wanted other opinions

I'd go with b) foglight has to go and deffo bend the grill up, it'll give it a cleaner look as Matt said

On another note my rear lights are wired up as, four side ,four brake ,then just the inner 2 when fog switch is thrown, could you go for that option?

Not really into cutting it off as I like reversible mods

As for that mod you mention, I would have to get some diodes and my last MOT the car failed for having brake fog and sidelights on the inners.

Which is why I'm wiring it up how I stated

I wasn’t too keen on the grill on my old mr2, but I thought it looked a bit bare with a single exit exhaust so this was my answer, made from about £10s worth of scrap aluminium.

Car looks great mate. Know what you mean about it looking a bit empty with a single exit and no grill, but I don't mind the look.

Ideally I want a Dep2 pro under there

Like the look of your white rev 3 with the carbon spoiler too. Works well together

Is the grill on some sort of hinge, or is the plastic actually bent to achieve this?

It has to be bent, its metal and attached to the frame so it has to be either cut or bent.
