I get a lot of glass painted at work, for shower enclosures and kitchen units and stuff, but even glass paint scratches so easily its unreal.Normally its the reverse face of the glass thats painted, to protect the paint, you cant really do that with T-Bar glass as its tinted, s the colour would be odd.

I will give the guy who does all my glass painting a call in the morning and see if he has any ideas

(yeah, I know) replaced the glass with metal.
It would still be lighter than glass even though not as light as carbon or g/f.
Did I imagine it?

I've got a spare set that I'm taking along with me to meet him so he can see whats involved.
Be interesting to get a price.
I will also see if he could make about 10 pairs for a Group Buy perhaps.

Not sure on price yet but I'm pretty sure it would be cheaper than those from the US.
