[Mk2] [Turbo] Need a new clutch? Opinions on the ebay Exedy kit?

Post by Dean_82 »

Hi all, My clutch is slipping quite bad now so it needs to be changed asap. I've been looking around and this reasonably priced Exedy clutch caught my eye.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-CELICA-GT4 ... 240%3A1318

Is this any good? Better than the OEM clutch?
I'm sure I read a post a while back where pacific works (?) said it was a decent kit.....but I cant be sure...

Its for my Rev3 Turbo, Mods: Greedy EBC set at 1bar, Blitz NurSpec Exhaust, Apexi induction kit, Gutted CAT.

Thanks :)

Yeah, why not...

I use Miller CRX (I think), a bit cheaper than MT-90.

Defo, fill until the oil drips out of the filler hole :thumleft:

I emailed him and he replied saying I had selected standard delivery which means it should arrive any day now. Well its Saturday night and it hasnt arrived so that means I wont get it till at least Monday.....thats a week wait!? is that quite bad or am I being silly? I emailed him this morning asking if there was anyway I could track my order? To which there was no reply.....

I've bought 2 clutches off this guy, one for a GT4 and the other for a Skyline, it's a good clutch for the price. Both my orders were delivered within 2 days, I don't remember having to select any faster delivery options?

I don't think thats being silly, you should have received it by now no matter what delivery option you went for. If you don't get it by Monday chase him up mate
