your right that is second one that got sold which was brand new, chap who sold the last one had brand new still in toyota package mats which i bidded for and won for £40. was superised not many bid for mats but most bidded for gear knob lucky me.

That's interesting. One of my Mark 1's came with a brand new black leather one, never fitted. The existing one was fine so didn't change it. Just got it out of the drawer I put it in 12 years ago! Going to keep it and watch it appreciate in value

There are two small marks where the paint has rubbed off on the collar somehow, but they are very small (if you can spot them behind the light glare) - I've tried to point them out below:



The reason i think it's been test fitted is because the plastic insert that connects it to the lever has light marking

Yep - I think it was originally from a sillycar.
