recommend me some decent ps3 games pls...

just completed gta4 so instead of buying a few random games what can you lot recommend...

i would like one good car racing game and maybe a war game or something like resident evil. in the past i have just bought games that looked good and turned out to be rubbish so some opinions on decent games please

For FPS COD 5 is the game to have at the moment I personally think. Although if COD 4 drops in price it's worth picking up as well.

GT5p for a bit or racing but do NOT spend £25 on it, it's just not worth that much. £10 through play trade.

Prologue's £17.99 from Play, although as you say, PlayTrade has it for just over a tenner.
Burnout Paradise amused me for a while, good crashes! Little Big Planet is a must have too.

GT5P (Not a massive amount of tracks but what's there is very challenging and it's hard to put down until you have achieved all the golds)

Unchartered (If you like the Tomb Raider games then this for me has set the new benchmark for this genre on the PS3)

The Orange Box (contains 5 games and Asda online are doing it delivered for under £20 and it's worth that just for Portal)

Warhawk (Online ONLY and the best £30 i've EVER spent on a game, But my friends who like COD online hate this, I love both but prefer the insanity of Warhawk. Imagine COD but you can use Tanks, Jeeps, APC, Jetpacks & Planes with upto 16 players per team with MUCH bigger maps)

and of course, Little Big Planet

Seriously, it makes NFS games feel like total real life and to make it even worse, there's nothing to it!

Grid is really a better more involving racer than GT5P. GT5P looks stunning in HD as it is one of the few games that runs at 1080P.

Grid is somewhat more involving and the racing is undeniably closer with damage etc.

Little big planet is very cool. Like this lots... so many possibilities and almost endless fun playing other people's levels that they've created.

apparently it makes GT and Forza look like arcade games.

I'm waiting for NFS Pro Street to arrive, bought it from a member on here for a tenner.

It may not be the worlds greatest racer but nothing is as bad as Ridge Racer. It sets new standards for poo.

Lauren, I thought all the games were 1080p? I've never seen one on either PS3 or Xbox 360 that doesnt play at 1080p?
