My 2 is Officially Old.....

Post by Mike »

......100,000 miles on the clock today, not bad for a J reg Rev 2 I spose. It got me thinking though, what mileage do other peeps have on their 2?

97'000 here on my '94 rev3.

With a 2 litre engine its not old, its only half way through its life if its looked after.

1994 Rev3 JDM NA with just over 60k miles.

No history but the car feels twice as tight as my previous 120k mile Rev3!

74500 on my j reg rev 1. Got every mot doc, and 15 years of toyota service stamps. First owner had it 15 years looked after it with no expence spared. 2nd owner had it 2 years, and serviced it himself. I gave it full service when I bought it just in case.

Reading 188,000 on the odometer now...

Forged internals at just before 170,000 and running 21psi boost. Still looking good.. A testament to its owner..

My GT-S turbo '94 has done 93,500 miles approx. Not too bad for a 15 year old car. Still seems to be running well, engine is healthier than my last G-Limited at the same mileage.

I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

Think I have you all beat....... 191,300 miles with FSH, next service the 33rd. On it's 4th cambelt, 3rd clutch, battery and alternator but still never let me down in the (almost) decade I've owned it.

R.

PS. Oh and say happy birthday... it's 19 in December.

 Not sure. My Mk1 had 98k on the clock when I bought it in 2004 but I found some writing on the cam belt cover saying the cambelt had been changed in 1998 with 180k on the clock IIRC I then put about 50k on her.
