Easter Weekend?
I could be up for that

Both are great places, with fantastic roads. If I had to choose it'd be the lakes.

The wife has already decided that we will be going to the lakes, Sorry Rich.
But next time you come over, we can look at the campsites and B&Bs that she has marked out for us. And can decide to agree with the route that she has planned for us

The roads around the lakes are better, much more fun! Scenery is better too imo
Re: the lakes or the dales?
As long as the route includes the Wrynose and Hardknott pass.
Not worth going to the Lake District without doing that run.

Just a thought its going to cost each of us the best part of 250 notes. based on todays travellodge prices.
Anyone thought about a lodge or a cabin? can get some pretty badass sleep 8-10 lodges complete with parking for 5 mr2's.
