8" Subs - Price and Where from

Hi,

Having dumped my 8" Puch Subs, I am again looking for something different to play around with, anyone got any suggestions for some nice base and not costing and arm and leg.

Pref somewhere that keeps these in stock, as every dealer I rung this afternoon tells me they need to order them in

Hi mate

Ive got 2 JL Audio 8" subs in my MR2, they sound fantastic for there size and they cost me about £100 each, not bad I rekon for the sound quality.

I bought them from www.bass-junkies.com, but Im sure www.mcs-direct.com would have them in stock too....

Not worthy of a response.....I know you are just trying to get my Wheels and Tyres off me

so cough up, you know you want them, after all whats the point in doing all this work to wrap it on the first bend due to dodgy tyres

I'll even throw in the new wheel nuts

philz, I've noticed you've got a T-bar.

Where do you put the glass with that sub behind your seat? Doesn't it get in the way?

Got to ditch my 6x9s, but don't want to lose that space...

ps what power amp are you running that sub with?

I don't have them subs anymore, I've gone upmarket with a 10" Phase Linear Aliante and a couple of Sinfoni amps.

I used to run a pair of Alpine amps for the old system though (there's still details on my website www.mr2-turbo.co.uk)

I don't have any pics of my car with the T bar glass in but here's basically what it looks like

I specifically designed the sub boxes so that I could keep the glass over the top of them.

Does that not vibrate the t-bar panels when they are in front of the subs?

I hope not because that looks like a great solution for me!

Nope, didn't make any difference to the sound when I had them subs.
