Anybody had any dealings with NST (Non Stop Tuning) in the States?

I purchased a big pulley kit from them weeks ago...

Unfortunately it has not arrrived. I never received any confirmation of my order or any confirmation that it has been dispatched.

I have tried to ring NST and they never answer their phone.
I have emailed them about 5 times but to no reply.

The money has been taken from my account...

Can anyone shed some light on this? Or have I been ripped off again!! I seem to have a habit of being stung recently.

How many weeks ago was it dispatched Pete? More than likely it will be held up at customs... I've had parts from the States which have taken a few weeks to come through. Dont panic!

From what I've heard anyone who has ordered stuff from NST has had a similar experience, but the kit eventually turns up

I ordered from them 6 months later I managed to geta refund.

Silver sufer ordered recently from them and it turned up quickly I think

I purchased a pulley kit from them when I lived in the states. It showed up fairly quickly, but they are hard to get ahold of if you have questions or problems.
I had a couple issues with the tensioner pulley(liked to fall of the bearing) and tried to get them to redesign it, they weren't to keen on my ideas.
I ended up fixing the pulley myself.

Had no problems at all, but it did take 7 weeks to arrive.
I think they are made to order, rather than having a surplus stock.
One of my SC friends had bought one before I did,
he told me how long he waited, so I didn`t worry.

It'll be worth getting hold of tracking info.
Parcelforce are a bunch of gays who kindly pay customs charges on your behalf, add an admin fee for their great service, and hold the item while you wait for their invoice to arrive.
If you get the tracking info you can pay over the phone before the letter arrives (if held at pforce) mine never arrived.

Edit: just read you've tried contacting them. I guess my advice doesn't apply then

that could explain a lot. if they make them to order as opposed to holding stock then there is a chance they dont get one-offs made either. if they take peoples orders (and money) until they get maybe 10 people (just speculating here) and then get the whole batch of 10 done at once, then it would explain why some people get their parts in a few days, and some people have to wait 2 months.

not a great way to do business, but there never seems to be any shortage of people buying their kit, and i guess you only probably buy those items once anyway. and it keeps it cost effective. if they held stock then the prices would probably be higher

Cynical head on - the power/torque gains could simply be down to them sorting the cam to valve clearances when installing the new camshafts compared to whatever the clearances were after 225K miles of wear on the original camshafts.

Well, I'll certainly give them credit for trying. However, standard design cams with about that much duration and lift would usually give you a bit more hp in a more usable range. They may have helped the idle, but their usable hp gains are more like around 5hp or so. That's not a lot for that size cam. I don't think they listed if the test car had any other mods or not, so maybe more could be had. Also, with that much lift the valve noise will be getting a bit noisy.

Regarding NST, I ordered a 160mm from them some time back and it definitely was made to order and took about 2 months to arrive (USA). Your customs may add more time as well. I dont think they carry much in stock and they are a bit small time it seems, so contact with them can lag apparently. Other than that though the products seem to be okay.
