Here we have an extremely sought after MK1 TBAR SUPERCHARGER in rare RED...!!!!

We have only seen 1 other RED SUPERCHARGER in the UK

This MR2 has been in the family for 4 years and now is owned by my father who is a 60 year old MR2 enthusiast, no expense has been spared during mine and my dads ownership.

Here is a list of some of the features and work that has been done over the past 2 years:

Just under 77000 miles ( speedo in Mph )

NO rust to the arches and front wings - solid chassis

Full Polybush kit replacement - superb handling!

Stainless steel tie bars on the rear, new front droplinks

New discs & pads, new brake cables

New tyres ALL round

Racetech Stainless Exhaust - sounds brilliant!!

MOMO Millenium steering wheel cost £180

SONY CD player

Both rear wheel bearings replaced

Tow bar with twin electrics ( can be removed ) the MR2 will tow up to 1 ton

MOT till July 2009 and TAX till January 2009

Recently serviced, lots of documented receipt history

15" MW Theta Alloys with MR2 MK1 " eagle " centre sections

Clean and tidy interior

TBAR blinds and bags present / RED interior carpet mats

Lots of work carried out by Paul @ Woodsport so it's been in great hands

Brought into the UK in 2002, previously owned by a member of the MR2 Drivers Club. When registered they made an error on the cars age, it is in fact a 1987 model but for some reason was registered as a 1989 model, as you can see its on a G plate.

The car drives superbly and runs with NO faults at all. The ECT-S box is stunning with recently replaced special gear oil, very expensive.

Some points worthy of mention:

A/C hasn't been used for a while, suspected bearing problem .

Front lower valence could do with paint.

Bits of lacquer flaking in 1 or 2 places.

Couple of little touch-ups needed around the car.

Interior ashtray lid broken.

To sum up this is a wonderful little sports car, superb performance and a good looking, never fails to raise a smile and turn heads. Your opportunity to acquire an extremely sought after mid engined SUPERCHARGED MR2 MK1.

Has this been resprayed? Was it red originally? I only noticed the supercharger door stickers were in the 'wrong' place that's why I ask. I'm not interested in buying it I'm just curious. As you say, you don't see many red ones and I was thinking of painting my sc conversion red once (not now though) so it's nice to see what the engine lid looks like etc.

Nice car by the look of it and decent price too (even if an auto - as my original SC was for the same price; using manual in my conversion though ) if as good as it looks, good luck with the sale.

Thanks for the interest and the kind words about it's condition. Yea, it was @ JAE this year, did a 700 mile round trip in it taking in the Norfolk Broads on the way down, the car drove faultless, it's quick, responsive and handles beautifully now it's been fully pollybushed by Woodsport.

It is in good condition, nice and solid and it has had some paintwork on the doors which was done by the previous owner, in our 4 year ownerships we haven't had any work done to the body itself. Yea, it's really annoying that when they put the new stickers back on they were in the wrong place it's never really bothered myself an my father so it's been left.

Can I just say if somone was to come along with £2200 then they would then own this superb SUPERCHARGER.
