[Mk2] [Generic] Think my suspension is fooked..

Hi guys..

had a problem develop yesterday when steering.. was getting allsorts of springy clunky noises.

Whipped off the front wheels this morning and it seem its the spring pinging about on various poin during lock to lock.

Can anyone offer any advice? does it sound like my springs have had it? certainly look that way!

sounds like a strut top bearing. but check and make sure the spring aint broke and catching

How hard are they to replace? the spring itself doesnt look broken. Although its both sides that are doing it.
