I think one of the main problems with the search function is not being able to search topic title only.

ditto. the links should be hosted on imocs webspace rather than old sites kicking around on the net.

As I understand it, by hosting the pics it takes up more server space and it costs more money or something like that. I do recall that it has been discussed and was agreed as not practical.

got to be more practical than links to info that doesn't exist. any info in a sticky should be kept on-site, otherwise the sticky itself is a waste of time and will put people off the site and paying for the use of imoc ltd.

Just to chip-in, I'm on a few different sites between the 2 cars and I personally find imoc streets ahead.

The search function had me baffled for ages, used to turn up literally every post on the forum in chronological order, but I find clicking "search for all terms" before doing the search is much better. Hitting "back" is a pain -click the box saying "OK to resubmit information" -some other forums have that as well so maybe I've got used to it.

I think forums are down to personal choice -I personally can't get on with another mr2 forum hosted on the .co.uk webname and the first forum /club I registered on on a .com domain is so bad I'm considering withdrawing membership as it's not promoting the car, the club, and the benefits are little -their forum says it all! I don't aggree with imoc deviding of certain forums and I don't want to see any more sections added as I think it's just right. But that's personal choice and probably the more familiar you are with something the easier it is I guess. LoL.

My only real gripe is that one can't add attachments on posts -just in the garage then you can't add the pic in a post -just the address. That I do think is lacking. And I do think that it's really lagging compared to other sites in that respect.
