hi All,

I used to be in IMOC and MR2DC, Jon Millars the name, If fact the last tubby I sold was to Scott Barton who is well known and respected on this site.

My brother over in N. Ireland has a Revision 5 Red Tubby that he is now reluctantly up for selling. Here is the spec:

Mark 2, Revision 5, MR2 Turbo, (Very rare car) November 1998
Red, Twin Airbags, Original Toyota 16" Alloys
• After market intercooler
• Greddy DSBC
• Arc-induction air kit
• Stainless steel twin exhaust
• 54,000 miles, two enthusiastic owners since import, 90% Toyota service history
• M.O.T. October 14th 2008
• Tax 31st October 2008
• Immaculate interior, one of the cleanest examples in U.K.
• Cat. 1 alarm and immobiliser
• Calm belt changed at 34000 miles.
• UK Private plate that will be sold with the car

Immaculate Turbo throughout
This is one of the cleanset and last of the Rev 5 Turbos going.

Meant to say the original UK owner reckons the car is running at
285-290BHP, it depends on how much boost you set on the DSBC, he runs it at a conservative 1.05 bar, you can up it if you like

Once you want to go to 300BHP or more I think you need to upgrade things like the fly wheel and clutch (as far as my limited memory recalls) Im sure Scott can advise.

Yup, sure did! And how mad is that! It once had a single exit and a fog light! My fogs are now wired up in the main lights.

This used to be my mold rev 5 tubby. Can say the car runs very well indeed. Power output at 1.05BAR was 272 BHP IIRC
