MK2 Rev2 Turbo

Post by ferrit »

Thought i'd post this up as it's own ad, but basically Lous old car!

http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=93892

Considering selling due to fuel costs more than anything, as well as a change in job means i'll be travelling over 50 miles as a round trip daily and I don't fancy running the 2 into the ground.

Slight change of spec, as such :

Mk2 Turbo (TBar)

12 Months MOT/1 Months TAX
BK 299 18” wheels (Continental 235's and Falken 215's)
Cusco Coilovers
Goodridge brake lines
Fetsport front and rear braces
MR2 Mk2 Rev3 Engine (put in July 2007, done approx 5k miles)
MR2 Mk2 Rev3 Turbo (CT20)

Border front bumper
Toms skirts (with spats)
Phonex power rear spats
Rev3 Spoiler
Rev3 rear lights (with US spec side running reflectors)
Rev6 low rise lights

Apexi Filter
Haywood & Scott exhaust
HKS SQV BOV
Helix paddle clutch
Findanza flywheel

Omori boost guage (stock location)
HKS turbo timer
Ital Volante wheel
TRD Gear Knob
Rev3 Shifter
JVC Headunit
Half leather/alcantera seats in good condition
Alam/Immobiliser

Issues :

- Bodywork is in good condition, but as you would expect has a few scuffs/marks here and there, it's 16 years old after all! Still polishes up beautifully however
- New clutch/Flywheel - Can feel a little heavy, and takes a bit of getting used too! ( Just being honest!! )
- Steering wheel is on the worn side
- With the car having coilovers, the ride is stiff. Might not be to some peoples liking, but the car does handle like it's on rails!

Car recently had an MOT, and flew through, no advisorys. Only thing that needed resolving was the front and rear numberplate lettering.... stupid MOT rules. However, i've put the old plates back on so looks the same as the pics. New plates supplied, naturally ;)

Pics in my garage!

Reduced to £2700

Cheers
Aaron

Reg - J666 BDB.

Odometer shows 37'000 miles - although I believe these to not be the original clocks.

I'm reducing the price to £2700 due to needing to sell ASAP and a couple of issues that have arisen since I listed the car:

Slight squeeking starting to come from the rear when setting off from idle, sounds like engine mounts to me, garage agree but haven't had the time ( or cash! ) to have them replaced.

Creaking starting to come from the front right when turning, ARB bush possibly? Not sure on this one.

I could probably break the car if I had time and sell everything for well over the price of the car, but as with most people it's all a case of time/space to store!
