Coming back from a 60 mile journey today I came off the dual carriageway to come home and wasn't

A 20-25mph half mile drive to my door step and I'm hear some pretty nasty

Background of the car is a late 1999 MR-S Turbo

Checked the oil level, and it was low.

Topped up with nearly 2 litres and still the noise is very much there.

I've compiled a short video to illustrate said noises but my hunch is bottom end failure.

The car drives ok, boosts ok also.

Couple of things I'd say.

The CEL is nothing regarding this problem and there is audible noise from the exhaust since fitting a cat back on for the MOT.
