I'm not sure, I played my C64 much more than my PS3.....

C64 is miles better the big flashy screen as it loads
then having to turn the tape over
you cannot beat it
i prefered my C64 to my C128

cannot beat monkey island :thumleft:

I think I had robocop lol.

I had that robocop gun game where you have to shoot the man holding the woman hostage. Didnt you just hate it when a game ran to the end of the cassette and didnt load.

For some reason we always sat there waiting for it to load.

monkey island


OMG I loved that game, downloaded it a while ago - its available free and set to run on the PC with the Scumm Emulator.

Awesome! Might download it again.

Loved all the old Lucas arts games.

Never did complete Indiana Jones and the fate of atlantis. :(

All I really remember was putting the cassettes in and the screen looking like a magic mushroom trip lol.

Esp. on Speccy 128k games with 8min+ load times, Those we're the days!!! :D

I had all the speccys :D

Even had to program the games in as well, they used to come printed in a magazine and the covers looked ace, barbarians fighting dragons and stuff like that, then you'd type in about 100lines of code and have a dot and a rectangle :lol:

LOL - i remember those days well ! ZX81 with 16k ram pack FTW !
