It looks like the rubbery plastic headlight finger guards are missing? Looks tatty in that area with them gone. Aside from that it looks tidy enough and solid enough.

edited > took the waffle out. Just wanted to highlight the missing rubbers (if indeed they are and it's not just a trick of the light) :)

Hi everyone, just to confirm the eyebrows are indeed missing, the ones that were on the car when i bought it were very scruffy so took them off with the intention of fitting new ones, but never got round to it.
Shame i have to sell but hey time for something else,2 cars just isnt an option for me any more..thanks.simon

The wheels on it in your garage pictures look much nicer (imo) than the ones on ebay.

It's a good looking car, I wish I'd had time to come a look at it.

Good luck with the sale and thanks for answering my questions on ebay. :thumleft:

Thanks gary,i wasnt sure which ones looked bettter to be honest but i stuck the white wheels back on as i thought they suite it better, just my opinion but everyone has their own taste.
I hope this time i dont get mucked about, already fedup with the timewasters
I just want the car to go to an enthusiast like i have been with it,although i will need to find something to keep me occupied now!

The seller, Simon, offered for me to view the car on Friday. Though I didn't he obviously has nothing to hide. His description is quite detailed and he seems very pleasant to deal with.

Yes, I was bit put off by the wheels but it's apparently got solid rear arches, ABV mod and Camry idler pulley - an intersting spec. In short, if goes for that sort of money again it's a bargain. New door, respray bonnet. fix window and fix couple of monor things and for £3K someone will have a brilliant SC. I'm trying to sell another MR2 so slightly wrong time for me.

Hi Andy,
If you hadn't noticed the buy it now price has droped to £2500,
I would think it's go to be worth that money, looks a very nice car.
You know you want it :D

Yes, now notice it's at £2200 with buy it now price removed. Hmmmm!

Sort of promised wife I'd get rid of the Rev 3 first

I had made a muck up of the listing after the first time being mucked about..
Dont know which listing your looking at but its on buy it now of 2500,my reserve is less than that though.....
I wont be putting it back on ebay for a 3rd time if it does not sell, fedup of timewasters. #-o

That's a bit odd - I looked last night and the 'buy it now' had gone and the top bid was £2200.

I've just looked this morning and the 'buy it now' is back, and the top bid is £1750.

Something a bit odd going on at planet ebay.....

When something reaches reserve from a private seller, the Buy it now is removed.

Somebody obviously retracted their bid from the auction.

It seems so yes,i sent an email to the high bidder becasue they had zero feedback, basically saying are they serious about the car as i had been mucked about by the previous bidder, and found out they retracted their bid, seems to me they were not serious as why woudl u want to retract if they not serious? :-k

Must resist bidding ....

I'd love a supercharger, but can't quite afford it at the mo. Wonder how much I could sell the family dog for :)

I was watching it and was tempted, but that was more than my max bid.

Not me ...but I'd be interested to hear what turns out to be like if it's someone on here. Sounds like a good deal.

Hi all, yes I am on here :D

been toying with the idea of getting another '2 for quite a while now, always wanted a SC, and this one just tipped me over the edge....

So I guess I'm back in the fold with my 3rd mk1 :D
Hmm  I seem to have too many cars again.. #-o

cheers :)

well, picked it up last night :)

seems pretty solid, just some niggling faults and a bit of tidying up needed..

the arches look particularly good :)

and the white wheels do indeed suit the car and have grown on me already :)

so, I'll be making a list of the jobs, and then getting busy on the search function on the forum..

feels good to have another mr2 again :)

Glad it worked out for you, the seller seemed like a nice bloke when I was talking too him - it's deals like this that make you realise not everyone is out to screw you over. :thumleft:
